Tele Star 1998 interview

A Tele Star interview about wedding, honeymoon and recent work.

Franck: The 7th of March 1998 was a big day in your life, wasn't it?
Erika: It sure was, I married Philip Goglia that wonderful day. It really was the best day in my life. It was magic, we got married in the morning in front of 80 guests and we organized a party in the Ritz Carlton Hotel of Marina Del Rey. It was a day with a lot of emotions: laughter, tears, happiness and anxiousness...

Franck: And your honeymoon?
Erika: We passed our honeymoon in Hawaii. I was in Hawaii when I was 18 for turning the pilot of Baywatch and it was my dream to return there once.

Franck: How did you get to know your husband?
Erika: Well 6 years ago, in time of Baywatch, I was in need of a physical trainer with knowledge of diets. I hired Philip Goglia and we became good friends, but after that life separated us. I met him again in 1996 and we fell in love. It is a great guy. He is running a firm, specialized in making personal workouts and suited personalized diet-programs. Some of his customers are Gillian Anderson and Jeff Goldblum.

Franck: After you left Baywatch, would you accept to return, maybe just for once?
Erika: It depends on the quality of the scenario, I am offered. Life taught me to never slam a door. I had some great moments on the set of Baywatch, but I only stayed in touch with Greg Bonnann, the producer.

Franck: What are your projects?
Erika: I recently did 3 TV-movies: "Dead on Target" with Daniel Baldwin, "Charade" with Jack Scalia and "Assylum" with Michael Ironside. I also did 3 episodes of Brooklyn South. Now I still have a lot of professional projects, but for the moment, I would like to spend some time privately, in family. Philip and I would like to have kids in the near future...
